This challenging hiking route will take you on a 10.6-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 464 meters, lasting approximately 3 hours and 37 minutes. The trail begins at Le Jacquier and leads you through a stunning alpine area.
Along the way, you will come across various points of interest. About midway through the hike, you will find Mafate Welcome, a bar where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. There are also camping sites for those who wish to spend the night surrounded by nature.
As you continue on the trail, you will encounter a beautiful waterfall at a distance of 3.76 kilometers from the start. Be sure to refill your water supply at one of the drinking water points located along the trail.
