Welcome to the hiking route to Hehle!
This moderate 4.584-kilometer out-and-back trail offers hikers a rewarding experience with an elevation gain of 457 meters. The trail is estimated to take around 2 hours and 12 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area, hikers will quickly come across the Alpengasthof Edelweiss restaurant at 0.36 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to grab a meal or refreshments before continuing on the trail. As you make your way along the path, you will encounter a spring at 0.36 kilometers, providing a natural water source for hikers.
Around 0.9 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water feature off the trail, perfect for a quick break to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The trail continues towards Hehlesattel, a saddle point located 2.15 kilometers from the start. Enjoy the stunning views and take a rest at the bench located at 0.42 kilometers into the hike.
As you reach the peak of Hehle at 2.29 kilometers, take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Information points along the trail provide insights into the flora, fauna, and history of the region, enriching your hiking experience.
On the way back, consider stopping by the Jausestation Obere Alpe restaurant located 0.95 kilometers from the start for a well-deserved meal.
