This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area around Lac de Clausis on the Route du vallon de Maurin. The trail covers a distance of approximately 5.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 363 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.

Starting at Parking du Bois Noir, you will head towards Lac de Clausis. Along the way, you will pass by the Bergerie du Bois Noir, a charming shepherd's hut, just 0.01 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail at 0.24 kilometers, you will find a fountain where you can rest and refill your water bottles.

As you continue the hike, at 0.52 kilometers, you will come across Le Bréou, an information point providing insights into the local area. About midway through the hike, at 0.97 kilometers, you will find Les prises de Coste Belle, another information point with interesting details about the surroundings.

The highlight of the hike is Lac de Clausis, located at 2.75 kilometers from the start. This beautiful lake is a perfect spot to take a break, enjoy the scenery, and maybe have a picnic.

Make sure to bring enough water for the hike, as some POIs are off-trail, and it's essential to stay hydrated. It's also a good idea to check the forecast before heading out, as weather conditions can change quickly in the mountains.
