Welcome to the Ruta El Paular - El Purgatorio hiking route! This super easy out-and-back trail spans approximately 1.3 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it perfect for hikers of all levels.
Starting at the parking area, you'll embark on a leisurely stroll through the scenic surroundings. Be sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before setting out.
Along the way, you'll come across several points of interest. About midway through the hike at 0.5 kilometers from the start, you'll find a picturesque picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy some snacks. Further along at 0.63 kilometers, another lovely picnic spot awaits you.
As you continue on the trail, you'll also encounter a fast food joint at 0.17 kilometers and a food court at the same distance. For nature enthusiasts, there is an information center at 0.11 kilometers offering valuable insights about the area.
After a delightful hike, you'll reach the turnaround point at El Purgatorio. Take in the serene surroundings before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
