Continuing on, you'll encounter the historic Cippo di confine Pontificio-Borbonico n° 194 boundary stone, a reminder of the area's rich history and cultural significance.
The highlight of the hike is reaching Pizzo Deta, a majestic peak that offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Located 4.1 kilometers from the start, this peak is a great spot to take in the sights and recharge before making your way back.
With a total elevation gain of 868 meters, this hike is considered difficult and is best suited for experienced hikers. Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and sturdy hiking boots. It's also advisable to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
