This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area surrounding Monte Guarda / Skutnik. The trail covers a distance of 5.327 kilometers with an elevation gain of 572 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers. It is recommended to set aside approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes to complete the route.
As you start your journey, you'll come across Agriturismo Malga Coot, a charming restaurant located just 0.56 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to fuel up before you continue your ascent. About 0.73 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a water source where you can refill your water bottles and stay hydrated.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 2.66 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the stunning peak of Monte Guarda / Skutnik. This is a perfect place to take a break, enjoy the panoramic views, and maybe even have a snack while admiring the surroundings.
Along the trail, you'll also come across various information points that provide insight into the area's history and wildlife. These points of interest are scattered throughout the hike, giving you the opportunity to learn more about the region as you make your way back to the starting point.
