This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Slap Virje. The trail is 3.024 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 67 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will pass by Plužensko jezero, a picturesque lake located 1.24 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Continuing on, at 1.38 kilometers you will find Izvir Glijuna, a refreshing spring just a short distance off the trail.
At the midway point of 1.51 kilometers, you will reach Slap Virje, a stunning waterfall that serves as the highlight of the hike. Take some time to admire the waterfall before heading back.
Throughout the hike, you will come across convenient parking areas, with one located at the start of the trail and another at 1.45 kilometers in. Additionally, informational points can be found at 1.45 and 1.51 kilometers, providing insight into the natural surroundings.
