Hiking : Mali Kanin / Canin basso

This extremely difficult 11.3 kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the majestic Mali Kanin / Canin basso peak in the beautiful area of Ricovero Casera Canin. The trail starts at a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the route.

As you make your way up the trail, at around 3.18 kilometers from the start, you will come across the wilderness hut, Ricovero Casera Canin, where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature. Continuing on, at about 5.29 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Pod Kaninom, offering stunning panoramic views of the area.

Along the way, you will also encounter various informational points providing insights about the natural and historic significance of the area. Remember to bring enough water, as this challenging hike involves an elevation gain of 1384 meters and may take around 6 hours to complete.
