This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Route de Nidau. The 8.6-kilometer trail offers a challenging hike with an elevation gain of 574 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the Pavillon de l'Ile shelter, located just 85 meters from the trail, where you can take a quick break before continuing. Further along the trail, at the 3.89-kilometer mark, you will find a refreshing water source at a natural fountain.

Around the midway point of the hike, at the 4.01-kilometer mark, you will reach a parking area. From there, you can continue towards the Facochères climbing area, which is located 4.06 kilometers from the start of the trail.

At the end of the hike, you will pass by L'île picnic site, just 77.5 meters from the trail, where you can relax and enjoy a meal before completing the circular route.

Throughout the hike, it is important to stay hydrated, so be sure to bring an adequate amount of water. Additionally, it is recommended to check the weather forecast before embarking on your journey to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
