This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Chemin Les Terrès. The 8.49-kilometer trail offers a challenging hike with an elevation gain of 445 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure.
As you start your journey, you'll pass by several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find parking facilities for your convenience. Further along, about 4.25 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across a viewpoint where you can stop and admire the breathtaking scenery.
One of the notable points of interest along the trail is the Col de Marie-Blanque, a saddle located just 0.03 kilometers off the trail. This natural feature adds to the charm of the hike and provides a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Throughout the hike, you'll also encounter information points, such as Etchaux and Circuit du Pic d'Escurets, which offer insights into the area's history and geography. Additionally, you'll find the Stèle du Maquis de Marie-Blanque memorial, paying tribute to a significant historical event.
