The total distance of the hike is approximately 3.3 kilometers with an elevation gain of 207 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start the hike, you will come across "Place Cap de la Carrère," a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, you will pass by "Place de Medevielle," another parking area, just 0.01 kilometers into the hike. Along the trail, you will also find "L'Auberge des Isards," a wheelchair-accessible restaurant, perfect for a quick break at 0.19 kilometers from the start.

Further along the route, you will encounter several points of interest such as the "Fontaine d'Acot," a fountain located 0.04 kilometers from the start, and the "Croix d'Acot," a historic wayside cross at 0.04 kilometers from the start. Additionally, you will pass by "Point de vue du Plat de Garat," a viewpoint offering breathtaking panoramas, at 1.09 kilometers from the start.
