This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 16.1 km journey to the breathtaking Elferspitze in the beautiful area of Tyrol, Austria. The route starts at the parking lot near Parkplatz Kindergarten, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this challenging adventure.
As you make your way through the trail, you will come across several points of interest. About 3.37 km into the hike, you will find Autenalm, a cozy restaurant where you can take a break and enjoy some local cuisine. Further along the trail, at around 6.78 km, you will encounter Elfer Nordwand Klettersteig, a via ferrata route that offers a thrilling climbing experience.
Throughout the hike, you will pass by various benches and water sources where you can rest and replenish your supplies. Keep an eye out for Zwölfernieder, a natural saddle point located at 5.86 km from the start, offering stunning views of the surroundings.
The trail will lead you to the impressive Elferspitze at 6.78 km, where you can soak in panoramic vistas of the Tyrolean landscape. Make sure to check out the Franz-Senn-Denkmal memorial, situated at 0.75 km from the start, commemorating a historic figure.
