This extremely difficult 16.1 km circular hike to the Elferspitze offers stunning views and challenging terrain for experienced hikers. The trail starts at the Parking Kindergarten and immediately begins to ascend, providing a good workout from the get-go.

Along the way, hikers will pass by picturesque water features, with opportunities to rest at various benches strategically placed along the route. The Autenalm restaurant is located about 3.37 km from the start, offering a nice spot to refuel and take in the mountain atmosphere.

For those interested in via ferrata, the Elfer Nordwand Klettersteig and Klettersteig Elferkofel provide thrilling climbing experiences, albeit slightly off the main trail at around 6.78 km from the start.

As you make your way towards the Elferspitze, you'll encounter the Zwölfernieder saddle, offering a unique vantage point of the surrounding landscape. The Franz-Senn-Denkmal memorial at 0.75 km from the start serves as a poignant reminder of the area's history.
