This extremely difficult 19.455-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you through the majestic (Taygetos) area, known for its challenging terrain and stunning natural beauty. The trail starts at the parking area and immediately immerses you in the rugged landscape.

As you trek along the route, you will come across several points of interest. Approximately 9.73 km from the start, you will reach the peak of (Taygetos), offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Further along the trail, at around 7.03 km from the beginning, you will encounter the peak of Χαλασμένο, adding to the scenic allure of the hike.

For those looking for a rest stop, the Ορειβατικό Καταφύγιο Ταΰγετου alpine hut is situated approximately 3.71 km from the start, providing a cozy refuge for tired hikers. Additionally, the Τρίποδας and Μαγγανιάρη drinking water stations are conveniently located along the trail, offering a chance to refill your water supplies at 2.02 km and 0.1 km from the start, respectively.
