This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Προφήτης Ηλίας (Prophet Elias) peak. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 14.3 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1409 meters, making it extremely difficult. It is estimated to take approximately 6 hours and 50 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area just 0.0 kilometers from the trailhead. Make sure to park your vehicle here before embarking on the hike. About 2.0 kilometers into the trail, you will find a drinking water source named Τρίποδας, providing a refreshing break for hikers. Further along, at the 3.36-kilometer mark, there is a spring called Μαγγανιάρη where you can replenish your water supply.

At around 3.71 kilometers, you will reach Ορειβατικό Καταφύγιο Ταΰγετου, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy the scenic views. Continuing on, at 6.83 kilometers, there is a cave entrance to explore. Finally, at 7.15 kilometers, you will reach the highlight of the hike, the Προφήτης Ηλίας peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.
