Welcome to the Alex Knob hiking route, an extremely difficult but rewarding trail with a distance of 15.342 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1077 meters. This challenging hike is estimated to take about 6 hours and 14 minutes to complete.

The trail starts at the Alex Knob Carpark, where you can park your vehicle before embarking on this adventure. As you begin your journey, you will pass by Lake Wombat at around 1.95 kilometers from the start. Although it's not directly on the trail, it's a lovely natural feature worth checking out.

Midway through your hike, you will reach the majestic Alex Knob peak at 7.67 kilometers from the start. This peak offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area, making it a perfect spot to take a break and capture some unforgettable memories.

Further along the trail, at 6.85 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Louisa Peak, another impressive peak that provides stunning views of the landscape. Additionally, at 5.42 kilometers from the start, you can enjoy the scenic vistas from Christmas Lookout, a popular viewpoint along the trail.
