Mrežce

This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Mrežce, offering stunning views and various points of interest along the way. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of approximately 5.5 kilometers and an elevation gain of 493 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. About 0.74 kilometers into the hike, you will find an information point providing insights about the surroundings. Further along the trail, at 1.47 kilometers, there is a water source, ideal for refilling your supplies.

At 1.4 kilometers, there is another informational point, followed by a bench for a quick rest at 1.41 kilometers. As you continue, 1.5 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Blejska koča na Lipanci, an alpine hut offering accommodation and amenities for hikers.

Midway through the hike, at 2.74 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Mrežce, providing a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding area. Nearby, there is also a viewpoint called Lipanski vrh, offering another perspective of the scenery.

At the end of the circular route, you will encounter a saddle at 2.74 kilometers, and another viewpoint of Mrežce. Throughout the hike, be sure to stay hydrated and bring enough water, as well as check the weather forecast before heading out. The trail offers a mix of natural beauty and informative points, making it a rewarding adventure for hikers of all levels.
