Welcome to the hiking route in Dovje! This easy out-and-back trail covers a distance of 4.35 kilometers with an elevation gain of 218 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across a historic wayside shrine, Kapelica, located just 0.02 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the path, at the 0.03-kilometer mark, you will encounter the Spomenik Jakobu Aljažu, a memorial of historical significance.

Continuing on, at the 0.09-kilometer mark, you will find Hram pri Aljažu, a pub where you can take a break and enjoy some local sustenance. Around 0.33 kilometers into the hike, Bar-Picerija Špajza, a restaurant, offers a place to refuel and rest.

As you progress, you will reach two viewpoints at different points on the trail. The first viewpoint, located at 1.95 kilometers from the start, provides a stunning vista of the surrounding area. The second viewpoint, situated 2.18 kilometers into the hike, offers another breathtaking perspective.
