This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints and amenities along the way. The trail is 8.93 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 175 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

You will start at the trailhead where there is parking available. As you begin your journey, you will come across the "Mirador del bosque" viewpoint about 1.88 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the scenic views.

Around 1.47 kilometers into the hike, you will find barbecue (bbq) spots for a picnic or a quick snack. These are perfect areas to replenish your energy before continuing on the trail.

At the midway point of 4.47 kilometers, you will reach the "Mirador Cerro La Virgen" viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Nearby is the "Virgen del Carmen" monument, adding a touch of historical significance to your hike.

Further along the trail, at the same distance point, there are picnic sites and more barbecue spots for you to relax and refuel before heading back.
