Welcome to the hiking route to Monte Gemma! This moderate 5.771-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a total elevation gain of 392 meters and takes approximately 2 hours and 18 minutes to complete.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll find convenient parking just 6.9 meters away. Be sure to pack plenty of water, as the trail can be challenging at times. As you begin your journey, make a stop at Capanna Maguccio, a wilderness hut located 45 meters from the trail, where you can rest and enjoy the surroundings.

Continuing on, you'll encounter Monte Gemma, a peak standing 11.8 meters from the trail, offering stunning panoramic views of the area. Along the way, you'll also come across Fontana Santa Serena, a refreshing drinking water point just 57 meters off the trail.

Further along the route, you'll reach Monte Salerio, another peak located 105 meters from the trail. As you make your way back, take a break at one of the picnic sites along the trail, perfect for refueling and enjoying a meal in nature.
