This hiking route will take you through the picturesque area surrounding Balsa de Peiralún. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 6.299 kilometers and an elevation gain of 103 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.

Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Parking Estacion de Esquí de Formigal, where you can leave your vehicle before starting your hike. As you progress, about 0.11 kilometers from the start, you will find a picnic site, Tex Mex Portalet restaurant, and Barbacoa fast food joint, perfect for a quick meal or snack.

Further along the trail, at 0.08 and 0.03 kilometers from the start, you will encounter natural water sources, providing a refreshing stop for hikers. Midway through your hike, approximately 2.57 kilometers from the start, you will find a spring, offering another opportunity to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

Finally, at 3.15 kilometers from the start, you will reach the main attraction of the hike, Balsa de Peiralún. This beautiful area is perfect for a break, with its tranquil waters and scenic views.
