Located in the stunning Les Lacarrats area, this challenging 11.635-kilometer out-and-back hiking route offers a total elevation gain of 955 meters, making it suitable for experienced hikers seeking a scenic adventure.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by the tranquil Lac de Lassiédouat, situated approximately 3.18 kilometers from the starting point. This picturesque lake provides a perfect spot to take in the surrounding natural beauty and maybe even have a picnic.

Continuing on, you will reach the Refuge de Migouélou at around 4.36 kilometers into the hike. This alpine hut offers a cozy retreat where you can rest and refuel before tackling the rest of the trail.

Further along the route, you will encounter the refreshing Lac des Touest at 1.87 kilometers from the start, followed by several other smaller water bodies scattered throughout the landscape. These peaceful oases provide a welcome respite and a chance to connect with nature.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, be sure to stop by the conveniently located parking area at the beginning of the trail.
