This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Les Lacarrats, offering stunning views and a challenging trek. The trail is an out-and-back type, spanning a distance of 11.635 kilometers with an elevation gain of 955 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 5 hours to complete.
As you begin your journey, you will come across the tranquil Lac de Lassiédouat situated 3.18 kilometers from the start of the trail. This picturesque lake provides a serene setting for a break before continuing on your adventure.
Further along the path, at a distance of 4.36 kilometers, you will encounter the Refuge de Migouélou, an alpine hut where you can rest and refuel. The hut offers accommodation and can be reached easily as it is located right along the trail.
Throughout the hike, you will also pass by several natural water sources such as Lac des Touest, providing opportunities to replenish your water supply and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
As you make your way back, consider stopping at the various water points like Lac des Touest and Lac de Lassiédouat for a refreshing break.
