Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by Camping de Riaño, a convenient campsite just 0.01 kilometers from the start where you can find amenities such as restrooms and a place to relax before or after your hike. Just a stone's throw away is the parking area at Camping de Riaño, ensuring easy access to the trail.

As you continue on, you will reach Mirador de Valcayo at the halfway point of the hike, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. This viewpoint is located 0.48 kilometers from the start and is a perfect spot to take in the natural beauty of the area.

While on the trail, be sure to stop by Mirador de Las Hazas, located 0.29 kilometers from the start, although not directly on the trail. This scenic viewpoint provides a different perspective of the landscape. Additionally, nearby is the Columpio de Riaño, an attraction just a short distance away from the trail, offering a unique experience for hikers.
