This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Camino de Las Pilas. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 7.909 kilometers and an elevation gain of 261 meters, making it a difficult hike. It is recommended to bring plenty of water and to check the forecast before starting.
Starting at the parking area, you will pass by the Mirador del Genal viewpoint, offering stunning views of the surroundings. As you continue on the trail, you will reach the Puerto del Espino saddle at 0.92 kilometers from the start, providing a picturesque spot to rest and take in the scenery.
Midway through the hike, you will come across the Venta Solera restaurant, where you can grab a bite to eat before continuing on. Further along the trail, at 3.53 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a peak with breathtaking panoramic views.
