This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Gedrechter. The trail is 4.197 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 388 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. It is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.

As you start your hike, you will pass by a parking area at the beginning of the trail. About 0.06 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the Zirmstadl restaurant where you can stop for a meal or snack. Further along the trail, at a distance of 2.1 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Gedrechter, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.

On your way back, you can choose to stop at the Berggasthof Platzlalm restaurant, located about 0.06 kilometers from the trail. This is a good spot to rest and refuel before continuing your hike.
