This extremely difficult hiking route to Tuppo dei Fogli covers a distance of 13.138 kilometers with an elevation gain of 900 meters. The total duration for this out-and-back trail is approximately 5 hours and 17 minutes.

The trail starts at a parking area near the trailhead. As you begin your hike, you will pass by Fontana di Mafariello, a natural spring with drinking water located 3.32 kilometers from the start. About 2.5 kilometers into the hike, you will find another spring named acqua di Carluccio for refilling your water supply.

Midway through the journey, at approximately 3.21 kilometers from the start, there is a picnic site where you can rest and enjoy a meal surrounded by nature.

As you continue on, you will reach Tuppo Supino, a peak located 2.03 kilometers from the starting point, although it is not directly on the trail.

The highlight of the hike is Tuppo dei Fogli, a viewpoint and peak located 6.57 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. From this vantage point, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Given the length and elevation gain of the hike, it is important to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear. Make sure to check the weather forecast before heading out and plan accordingly. This challenging route is not recommended for novice hikers.
