This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. With a total distance of 9.605 kilometers and an elevation gain of 493 meters, it's rated as difficult, so be prepared for a strenuous trek.

Starting at the parking area located at the beginning of the trail, you'll soon come across a picnic site about 1.76 kilometers into the hike, where you can take a break and enjoy some food. As you continue along the trail, you'll pass by several other parking areas, all offering free parking for hikers.

One of the highlights of this route is the Cioppo di Riccio peak, located 4.8 kilometers from the start of the trail. This natural peak offers breathtaking panoramic views and is a great spot to take in the surrounding landscape.

Along the way, you'll also come across a fountain, perfect for refilling your water bottles and staying hydrated during your hike. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen, as well as check the weather forecast before setting out.

This out-and-back route will take approximately 3 hours and 27 minutes to complete, but it's definitely worth the effort for the amazing views and sense of accomplishment you'll gain from reaching the peak. Enjoy your hike to Cioppo di Riccio!
