This hiking route takes you through a picturesque area with stunning views and moderate difficulty. The total distance of the route is approximately 6.8 kilometers with an elevation gain of 317 meters, taking an estimated time of 2 hours and 22 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area located right on the trail, you will begin your journey towards Rifugio Mafariello. At the beginning of the trail, you will pass by the refreshing Fontana di Mafariello spring, a great spot to refill your water bottle. As you continue on, midway through the hike you will come across a lovely picnic site, perfect for a break and enjoying the surroundings.

Further along the trail, you will reach the stunning peak of Tuppo Supino, located 2.03 kilometers from the starting point. While it is not directly on the trail, it offers a breathtaking view and is worth a slight detour if you have the energy.

Finally, after 3.41 kilometers of hiking, you will reach the destination of Rifugio Mafariello, an alpine hut where you can rest and recharge before heading back the same way you came. Along the way back, you can stop at the acqua di Carluccio spring for another opportunity to hydrate.
