Welcome to the hiking route to Bodenschneidhaus!

Located in a beautiful area, this trail offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for hikers. The route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 7.344 kilometers and an elevation gain of 389 meters, making it a difficult hike that will test your endurance.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area for your convenience. As you continue, you will pass by benches where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the quaint Obere Firstalm, a restaurant and alpine hut where you can refuel and rest before continuing your journey. Further along the trail, you will come across the Bodenschneidhaus, another restaurant and alpine hut where you can relax and take in the stunning views.

Along the trail, you will also encounter historical landmarks such as the WW1 & WW2 memorial, wayside crosses, and information points that provide insights into the area's rich history.

As you make your way back to the starting point, you can stop at the various points of interest again or take a moment to appreciate the natural surroundings.
