This extremely difficult 12.631-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Auerspitz peak. Starting at the parking lot near Taubensteinbahn, you'll journey through the stunning alpine landscape, with an elevation gain of 871 meters.

Along the way, at the beginning of the trail, you'll find the "Am See" parking area. As you progress, you'll reach the Rotwandhaus restaurant and alpine hut, located 5.12 kilometers from the start, offering a chance to rest and refuel.

Continuing on, you'll encounter the Auerspitz peak at the 6.14-kilometer mark, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area. Further along the trail, at the 4.33-kilometer mark, you'll come across a viewpoint offering spectacular scenery.

As you make your way back, you'll pass by several information points, such as Kirchstein and Willi Ringel memorials, providing insights into the area's history. Near the end of the route, at the 5.42-kilometer mark, you'll find another information point to learn more about the region.
