This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding La Baume. The trail is 5.133 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 351 meters, making it of moderate difficulty and taking approximately 2 hours to complete.
As you start your hike, you will pass by several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will come across a parking area for your convenience. Further along, you will find a memorial named "A Roger Gailhard" and an attraction called "Pressoir." These spots offer a glimpse into the history and culture of the area.
Continuing on, you will encounter ruins such as "San Julio" and "Tour," providing a historical touch to your hike. Along the way, you will also find a carved head in a wall alcove, adding a unique artistic element to the journey.
As you reach the midway point, you will come across benches where you can take a rest and enjoy the surrounding scenery. These benches are perfect for a quick break before continuing your adventure. Further ahead, you will discover a wayside cross, adding a spiritual aspect to the trail.
Towards the end of the route, you will reach the natural peak of "La Baume" and the saddle known as "Col du Roc Traucat." These landmarks offer stunning views of the area and make for a perfect photo opportunity.
