This hiking route takes you on a 6.148-kilometer circular journey to explore the beautiful area surrounding Rocher du Renard. The route has an elevation gain of 485 meters and is expected to take around 2 hours and 38 minutes to complete, making it of moderate difficulty.
Starting at Place de l'Église, you will begin your hike heading towards Col de la Maure, a saddle located 2.4 kilometers from the starting point. Along the way, you will pass by a drinking water station, located just 69 meters from the trail, perfect for refilling your water bottle.
As you continue your ascent, you will encounter a spring at 0.4 kilometers from the start, providing a refreshing break before reaching the peak of Rocher du Renard at 2.95 kilometers. From this vantage point, you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
While the trail leads you to several notable points of interest, such as Col de Coupiac and Le Mellio peaks, some additional landmarks like La Belo peak are located slightly off the main path. Exercise caution if you choose to explore these off-trail points during your hike.
