This challenging hiking route takes you to the beautiful Königsleitenspitze in the stunning mountainous area. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 6.5 kilometers and an elevation gain of 669 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 3 hours and 10 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will pass by Schirmbar Hannes' Alm, a cozy pub located right at the beginning of the trail, where you can grab a drink or snack before embarking on your adventure. Further along the trail, you will come across several parking facilities that are located at varying distances from the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle in a designated spot before starting the hike.
As you continue onwards, you will encounter King's The Bar, Pizzeria Pico Bello, and Hotel-Restaurant Ursprung, where you can refuel and enjoy a delicious meal. Additionally, Bergrestaurant Panoramaalm offers stunning views and a great spot to rest and take in the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, you will reach a peak called Königsleitenspitze, a natural attraction that offers breathtaking panoramic views. Make sure to take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the area before heading back.
Throughout the trail, you will also find water sources, information points, and benches for resting and taking a break.
