This extremely difficult 16.452 km out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Cima di Tuena destination in the beautiful alpine region. With an elevation gain of 1482.0 meters and a duration of approximately 7 hours and 30 minutes, this challenging hike is not for the faint of heart.
Beginning at the trailhead, you will pass by some notable points of interest along the way. Just 3.59 km from the start, you will come across the picturesque Malga Tuena alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy the mountain views. As you continue on, you will encounter a picnic site just 0.01 km from the trail, perfect for a quick snack.
Midway through the hike, at around 7.82 km from the start, you will reach the majestic Cima Benon peak, offering breathtaking panoramic vistas of the surrounding area. Be sure to take some time to soak in the natural beauty that surrounds you.
Further along the trail, at 6.98 km from the start, you will come to Passo di Pra Castron saddle, providing a peaceful spot to rest and refuel before continuing on. As you approach the end of the hike, at 8.23 km from the start, you will reach the impressive Cima di Tuena peak, the final destination of the route.
