Hiking : Écaille de Ragris

This challenging hiking route will take you to the beautiful Écaille de Ragris area. The trail spans a distance of 6.285 kilometers with an elevation gain of 666 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take approximately 3 hours and 7 minutes to complete.

Starting your hike, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle. As you continue, about 3 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the Col de Marcieu, a natural saddle offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Midway through the hike, at around 2.07 kilometers from the start, you will reach a viewpoint called L'Alpette, where you can take a break and admire the panoramic scenery. Further along the trail, at about 3.14 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Pas de Ragris, a natural saddle, and the impressive rock formation known as Écaille de Ragris.

Along the trail, you will also find facilities such as the Maison du Col shelter and La Renardière restaurant for any needed rest or refreshments.
