This hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Dent de Crolles area. The trail starts at Parking des Ayes where you can leave your vehicle and begin your adventure. As you make your way along the route, you will come across several points of interest.
Approximately 2 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Dent de Crolles viewpoint, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail, another 2-kilometer stretch will lead you to Pas de l'Œille, a picturesque saddle.
As you continue your journey, you will encounter the Grotte Chevalier cave entrance and the ruins of an historic site. Be sure to also check out the Poussez pas derrière climbing spot, perfect for rock climbing enthusiasts.
At around the halfway point of the hike, you will pass by the Décollage de la Dent de Crolles, a site popular for free flying enthusiasts. Take in the beauty of the natural spring, bassin, and La Fontaine information point along the way.
The hike covers a distance of 5.2 kilometers with an elevation gain of 751 meters, making it a moderately challenging trek.
