This challenging hiking route will take you through the stunning alpine landscapes of the Berghaus Bärtschi - Zustieg Chäligang area. With a total distance of 4.928 kilometers and an elevation gain of 514 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart.

Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, you will follow the trail as it winds through the picturesque terrain. About midway through the hike, you will come across a water point where you can refill your water bottles and take a short break.

As you continue on, you will reach a shelter where you can rest and enjoy a picnic. Nearby, there is also a bench and BBQ area where you can take in the beautiful surroundings.

Around the 2.39 kilometer mark, you'll find the Engstligenalp at 1940m, a perfect spot to take in panoramic views of the area. Further along the trail, at a distance of 1.46 kilometers, you will encounter the majestic Engstligenfälle waterfall.

Before heading back, be sure to check out the Restaurant Bergbach for a delicious meal. And if you need a rest, there are benches along the way where you can relax and take in the scenery.
