This hiking route takes you through the stunning area around Lämmerenhütte, offering awe-inspiring views and a challenging terrain. With a total distance of 14.687 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1630 meters, this hike is rated as extremely difficult.
Starting at the Gemmi Luftseilbahn, you will make your way along the trail, passing by the Daube peak and Gemmipass. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest such as picnic sites, benches, information points, and drinking water spots. Make sure to take breaks at these locations to rest and refuel.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Lämmerenhütte, an alpine hut where you can take a break, enjoy the surroundings, and maybe even grab a bite to eat. The hut is located 7.34 kilometers from the start of the trail.
As you make your way back, be prepared for the challenging terrain and keep an eye out for the beautiful natural scenery that surrounds you. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and wear appropriate hiking gear.
