This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Ca dei Scuma, Via Val di Mello, and Val Masino. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 2.132 kilometers and an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. At the beginning, you will find the "Ground Jack" campsite, a perfect spot for camping and resting. Further along the trail, you will reach a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike.
As you continue on, you will encounter a water source at the beginning of the trail and another one at 0.12 kilometers mark, providing you with opportunities to refill your water bottles. Along the way, you will also pass by "Il Bidet della Contessa," a natural water feature, perfect for a refreshing break.
For sustenance, you can visit the "Trattoria Gatto Rosso" restaurant located 0.24 kilometers into the hike or "Ca dei Scuma" restaurant at 0.83 kilometers mark. These spots are ideal for refueling and enjoying a meal before or after your hike.
Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the "Sasso dei Veronesi" and "Climbing" areas located at the beginning of the trail and 1.06 kilometers into the hike, providing opportunities for climbing and exploring the natural surroundings.
