This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Luna Nascente. The trail extends for 3.261 kilometers with an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. It is estimated to take about 50 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Ground Jack, a campsite located just 0.09 kilometers from the start. Continuing on, you will encounter a parking area and a water source, both located close to the trailhead.
Further along the route, at around 0.65 kilometers from the start, you will find a natural water feature. As you proceed, you will pass by Il Bidet della Contessa, another water source located 0.96 kilometers into the hike. Additionally, Trattoria Gatto Rosso, a restaurant, can be found 0.24 kilometers from the trail.
Around 1.05 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a rock formation known as Ca dei Scuma. For those interested in climbing, Sasso dei Veronesi is located right by the trail. Additionally, there are several climbing spots along the route, with the closest one being 1.09 kilometers from the start.
For those looking to take a break and enjoy some refreshments, Rifugio Mello, an alpine hut, is situated 1.49 kilometers from the trailhead. Towards the end of the hike, you will find Luna Nascente, another alpine hut located at 1.63 kilometers.
