This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the beautiful Kalkbretterkopf peak. Starting at the trailhead, you will first pass by the Hirschenhütte and Waldgasthof Angertal, where you can grab some food before embarking on your journey. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the Feldinghütte, Tofererhütte, and Präerhütte, offering you some rest stops along the challenging route.

Around midway through the hike, you will encounter the Stanzscharte saddle, providing a picturesque vantage point to catch your breath and take in the stunning surroundings. Further ahead, the trail will lead you to the Gadauner Hochalm information points, where you can learn more about the area and its history.

As you continue your ascent towards the Kalkbretterkopf peak, be sure to stay hydrated and well-prepared, as the trail is long and demanding. Additionally, make sure to check the weather forecast before setting out, as conditions can change quickly in the mountains.
