This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area of Sonnenberg, Monte Sole, Schlanders, and Silandro. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting at an elevation of 805 meters and reaching a peak elevation of 1397 meters.
As you begin your hike, you will pass by the Pension Rita, where you can grab a quick snack or drink at the cafe. As you continue on, you will come across various facilities such as parking areas, benches, and shelters along the way. These can be great spots to take a quick rest and enjoy the surrounding nature.
Throughout the hike, you will also encounter several historic sites such as wayside shrines and viewpoints. These points of interest offer a glimpse into the rich history of the area and provide excellent photo opportunities.
For your convenience, there are information points scattered along the route to help guide you and provide interesting facts about the surroundings. Make sure to stop by the Kastanienhain - Castagneto for a unique experience.
