This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Vermoi Spitze - Punta Vermoi in a total distance of 10.557 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1405 meters. The total duration of the hike is estimated to be around 5 hours and 57 minutes.

The trail starts at the parking area, which is located at the beginning of the route. As you begin your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. Around 1.16 kilometers from the start, you will find the Jausenstation Oberkaser, a cozy restaurant where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.

Continuing on, at around 1.5 kilometers into the hike, you will come across an information point followed by a historic wayside cross at 1.51 kilometers. As you approach the midway point of the trail, at approximately 2.53 and 2.65 kilometers from the start, you will find benches where you can rest and take in the surrounding scenery.

Around 3.39 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water station to refill your supplies. Further along the trail, at 4.12 kilometers, another drinking water station is conveniently located for hikers.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the Vermoi Spitze - Punta Vermoi at 5.28 kilometers from the start. The peak offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making the strenuous journey well worth it.

It is recommended to bring an ample water supply, as the hike is quite challenging and physically demanding. Additionally, checking the weather forecast before embarking on the hike is essential for a safe and enjoyable experience.
