This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you through the stunning area of Via Rampagnel. With a total distance of 12.981 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1275 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by a parking lot and picnic site within the first few meters of the trail. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across various points of interest including a saddle named Forcella di Antracisa around the 5.12-kilometer mark. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding views.
Continuing on, you'll encounter a wayside shrine and a shelter, where you can rest and refuel for the journey ahead. Make sure to stay hydrated as there are drinking water stations along the trail at regular intervals. At the 2.72-kilometer mark, you'll reach the peak of La Crepuccia, offering panoramic views of the area.
Further along the route, you'll pass by peaks such as Monte Turlon and Monte Taront, each providing unique vantage points of the landscape. Around the 6.49-kilometer mark, there is a viewpoint that offers a perfect place to take in the surroundings and capture some memorable photos.
As you make your way back along the trail, be sure to stop by the various amenities such as a bar and information point for any additional needs.
