This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail covers a distance of 10.021 kilometers with an elevation gain of 676 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 4 hours to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the Bischofsquelle spring and the Kilian Rast picnic site, both located just 0.16 kilometers from the start. These are great places to take a short break before continuing on your journey.
As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by the Schneiteich Wena water feature, located 4.48 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect spot to rest and take in the surrounding natural beauty.
Further along the route, around the 2.5 kilometer mark, you will find benches where you can stop and enjoy a snack while admiring the breathtaking views. Additionally, there are several restaurants like Loderbichl and Soderkaser, where you can refuel and recharge for the remainder of your hike.
At the midway point, approximately 4.65 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Lippnkasa Almhütte alpine hut. This is a great place to stop for a meal and relax before continuing your journey.
Finally, the trail leads to the Steger Kaserei alpine hut, situated at the end of the route. Here, you can enjoy a well-deserved rest and take in the panoramic views before heading back along the same path.
