This hiking route is located in a beautiful area with breathtaking views and challenging terrain. The trail is an out-and-back type, leading you to the destination known as Tres Cestos.

As you begin your journey, you'll come across the parking area at Cantocochino, where you can leave your vehicle and start the hike. Close by, you'll find Casa Torrero and Mesón del Montañero, two restaurants where you can grab a bite to eat before hitting the trail.

As you make your way along the trail, you'll encounter the Punto de Información de Canto Cochino, a visitor information point providing useful insights about the area. As you trek further, you'll pass by Collado de la Romera, a natural saddle offering a scenic spot to rest and take in the surrounding nature.

Midway through the hike, you'll reach a shelter for a well-deserved break before continuing towards several peaks such as El Pajarito, La Campana, and Carro del Diablo. These peaks offer stunning panoramic views of the landscape, making the climb worth every step.

Before reaching the final destination of Tres Cestos, you can stop by Puente de los Pollos, a rock formation that adds a unique touch to the scenery. Once you reach Tres Cestos, you'll be rewarded with a sense of accomplishment and sweeping views that make the challenging hike truly unforgettable.

With a total distance of 9.127 kilometers and an elevation gain of 710 meters, this route is rated as difficult and is suitable for experienced hikers.
