Starting at the trailhead, located near a convenient parking area, hikers will pass by the Bergheim restaurant and Alpine hut within the first 0.15 kilometers. These are great spots to grab a meal or snack before heading into the wilderness. As you trek further along the trail, at around 2.07 kilometers, you'll reach Furgges Alm, another Alpine hut where you can take a rest and enjoy the views.
Around the midway point of the hike, at approximately 4.21 kilometers, you'll come across an information point where you can learn more about the surrounding peaks and wildlife. Continuing on, at 5.02 kilometers, you'll find yourself at the base of Angerbergkopf, a majestic peak that offers panoramic views of the region.
It's important to note that the trail distance can be deceiving, as the elevation gain and rough terrain can make the hike more challenging than anticipated. Make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate gear for the journey. Checking the weather forecast before setting out is also recommended to ensure a safe and enjoyable hike.
