Welcome to the hiking route to Crêt Luisard! This moderate 3.838-kilometer out-and-back trail offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way.
Starting at the Foyer de ski de fond parking area, you'll first pass by Lac de Crêvecœur, located 0.61 kilometers from the trailhead. This beautiful lake is a perfect spot to take in the natural scenery and maybe even have a quick snack.
As you continue on, you'll come across the Cafétéria du foyer where you can grab a refreshment before heading towards Lac de la Belle Aiguette, which you'll see from a distance as it's 1.92 kilometers from the start and not directly on the trail.
The highlight of the hike is reaching the peak of Crêt Luisard, situated at the same distance as Lac de la Belle Aiguette. From the summit, you'll have panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Along the trail, you'll also find wayside crosses, information points, and natural springs to keep you informed and hydrated throughout your journey.
With an elevation gain of 348 meters, this hike will challenge you but the breathtaking views make it all worth it. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before you set off.
