Welcome to the hiking route to Crêt du Poulet! This moderate 4.636-kilometer out-and-back trail offers stunning views and a moderate level of difficulty with an elevation gain of 296 meters.
Starting at Foyer de ski de fond, you will pass by the Cafétéria du foyer at the beginning of the trail, a great spot to grab a snack before continuing your journey. As you make your way up the trail, you will come across La Grande Bouine, an information point located 1.26 kilometers from the start.
Midway through the hike, at 1.36 kilometers from the beginning, you will find a water feature perfect for a rest stop. Further along the trail, approximately 2.22 kilometers in, you will reach Refuge du Crêt du Poulet, where you can take a break and enjoy the alpine hut.
As you continue onwards, at 2.25 kilometers from the start, you will spot a historic wayside cross. And at 2.27 kilometers, there is a viewpoint offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Just a bit further at 2.32 kilometers, you will reach another viewpoint, perfect for capturing the scenic beauty of the area.
Your final destination, Crêt du Poulet, a peak with an elevation of 296 meters, lies at the end of the trail. Here, you can take in the magnificent views before heading back the way you came.
