Welcome to the Tiroler Höhenweg - Pfitsch - Val di Vizze hiking route! This circular route offers a moderate level of difficulty with a total distance of 4.992 kilometers and an elevation gain of 455 meters, taking approximately 2 hours and 17 minutes to complete.
Starting at Kehre 4, you will begin your journey through the stunning natural beauty of the area. As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter several points of interest:
At 0.12 kilometers from the start, you will come across an information point providing insights into the surroundings.
Further along, at 1.35 kilometers, you will find the Jochplatte peak, offering panoramic views of the landscape.
Around the midway point of the trail, at 2.02 kilometers, you will reach the Pfitscher-Joch-Haus alpine hut. This is a great spot to take a break, refuel, and enjoy the mountain hospitality.
Continuing on, at 2.31 kilometers, you will reach the Pfitscher Joch - Passo di Vizze saddle, another highlight of the route.
As you near the end of your hike, at 2.31 kilometers, you will encounter a historic boundary stone marking the region's heritage.
Throughout the hike, you will also pass by various water sources, such as the Jochsee - Lago del passo, providing opportunities to rest and rehydrate.
