This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area of Pfunders, Vintl, and Vandoies. The trail is 13.837 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1204 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area just 0.01 kilometers from the trailhead. It is advisable to park here before embarking on your hike. Further along the trail at 0.01 kilometers, you will also find a bench where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

Around 1.34 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Bodenalm restaurant, where you can refuel and take a break. Continuing onwards, at 3.87 kilometers, you will find the Walter-Brenninger-Biwak wilderness hut, offering accommodation for hikers looking to spend the night along the trail.

As you push further along the challenging path, at 6.42 kilometers, you will reach the Gaisscharte saddle, providing a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. Just a little ahead, at 6.92 kilometers, there is a water source where you can replenish your supplies.

It is important to note that the hike is quite demanding, so make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate gear. Check the weather forecast before setting out and be prepared for changing conditions.
